## What is a letter & number stamp?
Designed for making permanent marks of identification on metal workpieces, letter and number stamps are essentially a metal peg with a raised letter or number at the end. Much like a centre punch, these stamps are usually hit with a hammer to stamp the letter or number into the desired material.
