Why height gauges?

Height gauges are precision measurement tools that are designed to ensure accurate measurements of the height. They are highly versatile measuring instruments that are able to measure the height of an object or to make accurate makings on workpieces.

Height gauges work by using a vertical axis beam or column which holds a sliding carriage that contains a scribe or moving stylus to indicates the height measurement either on a scale mounted on the beam or to a digital reader. There is a range of scales and sizes to suit all types of industry.

Height gauge types

Digital height gauges  -   Also known as electronic height gauges, they use a digital LED reader to display measurements. Digital height gauges are capable of fine precision adjustments and very reliable. They are also able to display reading conversions from mm to inches.

Vernier height gauges  -   This type of height gauge used the vernier scale and the main scale to determine height. They often have an adjustable reference points.
